Method 1 – Keying directly onto tag.

  1. Open Simplo and click New   
  2. From the left-hand menu, select the tag type you want to use (if you are unsure where to find the tag, use the Search function).
  3. Click on the tag name in the right-hand menu under the list of items and click the OK button.
  4. At the Input screen, click the tag you wish to type on.
  5. Enter the text required into the blue text box on the right-hand side of the screen.
  6. When you have finished entering the data, click Run to generate the data. If the quantity exceeds the amount of tags on a module, multiple modules will appear as tabs across the upper section of the window as seen below. 
  7. If quantity of characters exceeds the maximum allowance per tag, the effected tags will be highlighted. The Autofit feature automatically reduces the font size of the effected tags. 

Click Edit/Select All before clicking Autofit 

Method 2 – Copy and Paste from Excel into the Generator Grid

  1. Open Simplo and select New   
  2. From the left-hand menu, select the tag type you want to use (if you are unsure where to find the tag, use the Search function).  Click on the tag name in the right-hand menu under the list of items and click the OK button.
  3. Open the Generator screen by clicking on the Generator Grid icon .
  4. Open the Excel sheet containing the data ensuring columns match as per below.
  5. Select the data to be printed and use the Copy icon or function (Ctrl + C).
  6. Return to the Simplo Generator Screen, insert the data using the Paste icon of function (Ctrl + V).
  7. Exit the Generator screen by clicking on the Door icon   
  8. If quantity of characters exceeds the maximum allowance per tag, the effected tags will highlight. The Autofit feature automatically reduces the font size of the effected tags. 
  9. Click Edit/Select All before clicking Autofit 

Method 3 – Manual input using the Generation area.

  1. Open Simplo and Click New 
  2. From the left-hand menu, select the tag type you want to use (if you are unsure where to find the tag, use the Search function)
  3. Click on the tag name in the right-hand menu under the list of items and click the OK button
  4. At the Input screen, click the New button located in the bottom section of the screen.
  5. Enter the text required into the Generation Start box at the bottom of the screen. If you require multiple repeats of the same data enter the quantity required in the Repeat box / Click Enter
  6. When you have finished entering the data, click Enter and then click Run topopulate thedata.
  7. If quantity of characters exceeds the maximum allowance per tag, the effected tags will highlight. The Autofit feature automatically reduces the font size of the effected tags. 
  8. Click Edit/Select All before clicking Autofit
